Biography
Dr.Farid Makroum is the Professor of structural Geology at Mansoura University, Egypt.He has done his PH.D. in Structural geology and mineralization from Mansoura University, Egypt in co-operation with University of Aix Marseille I, France in the year 1996. He has done his MSc. in Rocks and minerals from Mansoura University, Egypt in the year 1991.He has More than 20 articles in different geological topics while structural geology and tectonics represents the main field of interest. He is the - Leader and Co-leader of different research group in the Eastern Desert of Egypt, Gulf of Suez, Red sea, Tunis and Chad.The research collaboration with different institutes as University of Montpellier II, France, University of Graz, Austria and University of Tunis El Manar. He is also the - Consultant of structural geology and courses instructor for different petroleum and mining companies, among them: OGS, GTSC, Gupco, Petrobell, Mica star in Egypt; ETAP in Tunis; and Star petroleum and SP mining in Chad and Sudan.
