Biography
Mukesh Singh Boori is Senior Scientist in Samara State Aerospace University Russia (03/2015–Present) and Adjunct Professor in American Sentinel University Colorado USA (07/2015–Present). He was involved in European Union Project as well as Visiting Assistant Professor in Palacky University Olomouc, Czech Republic (04/2013–06/2015), Ruhr University Bochum Germany (09/2014–12/2014) and University of Leicester, UK (Honorary Fellow 2014) funded by European Union; at the same time he was Assistant Professor in JECRC University India (01/2013–06/2015). He was Scientist in Satellite Climate Studies Branch (NOAA/NASA) selected by National Research Council (NRC) Central Govt. of USA Washington DC. During that time he completed his Postdoc from University of Maryland USA (10/2012). He has done PhD (EIA & Management of Natural Resources) from Federal University – RN (UFRN) Natal –RN Brazil (08/2011) funded by Brazil–Italy Govt. fellowship. He has done Predoc (Earth & Environmental Science) from Katholieke University Leuven Belgium (08/2008) selected by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) New Delhi India and funded by Govt. of Belgium. He has done MSc (Remote sensing & GIS) from MDS University Ajmer (2004) and BSc (Bio-group) from University of Rajasthan Jaipur India (2002). In early career he was scientist in JSAC/ISRO (2006-2007) and before that Lecturer (PG) at MDS University Ajmer (2005-2007Sessions). He received international awards/fellowships from UK, USA, Brazil, Italy, Indonesia, Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Russia and India. He is editor and member of more than 10 International Scientific Societies/Journals/Committees related to Earth & Space Science; which include organize conferences. He has more than 50 International Publications including Books as a first author on Vulnerability, Risk Assessment and Climate Change.

Mohamed Ibrahim Dosouky Helal is the Professor of Soil Chemistry at cairo University, Egypt.He published 8 articles in international journals as recorded by Scopus data base. He has done his B.Sc. in Agricultural Science in 1976, M.Sc. in Soil Science in 1982 from from Cairo University. The M. SC. Thesis entitled “ Status of some micronutrients “Boron†in the soils of Egypt.He has done Ph. D. in Soil Science from Cairo University in the year 1988. The Ph. D. thesis entitled “ Status of potassium in the soils of Egyptâ€. He is the Reviewer in the Journal of Hazardous Materials (ELSEVIER Publisher) and the Journal of Agricultural Science and Technology, Islamic Republic of Iran. He has more than 25 publications in many Journals. He also attended more than 11 Conferences and meetings. He has membership in Egyptian Soil Science Society, Since 1984 and African Soil Science Society, since 1988.
Research Interest
His research activities deal with application of nanotechnology in remediation of heavy metals polluted soil. Various nano-particles; nano scale zero valent iron “nZVIâ€, nZVI-bentonite, nano alginate and nano carbon; are used as a potential sorbents to eliminate heavy metals from polluted soil. These nanoparticles are prepared in lab either using bottom-up or top-down methods, then characterized using transmission electron microscope (TEM). Also, these nano particles could be potentially used to decontaminate heavy metals polluted water.

Marte S. Gutierrez is the Founding Chair of Khalifa University’s Department of Civil, Infrastructure and Environmental Engineering. Before coming to Khalifa University, Professor Gutierrez was the James R. Paden Distinguished Professor at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of Colorado School of Mines. Formerly, he was Post-doctoral Fellow, Senior Engineer and Program Leader at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute, and Associate Professor/Professor at Virginia Tech. He has held visiting professorship and researcher positions in China, Chile, France, Japan and Korea. He has published more than 185 papers in book chapters, journals and conference proceedings, and has given keynote and invited lectures at a number of conferences. He is a member of the Editorial Board of four International Journals, and a former Board Member of the U.S. Universities Council for Geotechnical Education and Research (USUCGER). He is the recipient of the 2011 Geotechnical Research Medal from UK’s Institute of Civil Engineers.

Biography
Fares Howari serves as a Professor of Environmental Sciences at Zayed University. He served as Professor and Chair of the Department of Applied Sciences and Mathematics at Abu Dhabi University as well as a Director of Abu Dhabi University Center of Excellence of Environment, Health and Safety (CoEHS). He is a water resources and environmental scientist with research development and administration expertise. He served as a Professor of Environmental Sciences and Engineering; and Coordinator of Environmental Sciences Program at the University of Texas, PB. He also joined the Center for International Energy and Environmental Policy (CIEEP) as program coordinator, and as an Environmental Scientist at the Bureau of Economic Geology at the University of Texas at Austin. Before joining the University of Texas at Austin, Prof Howari worked as an Associate Professor at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). At UAEU, he served in the Executive Committee for the Water Resources Graduate Program, supervisor for the Environment Society, joined dozens of committees, taught several courses, successfully obtained several grants, and conducted numerous consultations. Prior to this Dr. Howari worked for about two years at Texas A and M University where he worked as a research scientist on the development and application of computer models to assess environmental contamination problems in marine and terrestrial environments. He conduct dozens of risk assessments investigations necessary for impact assessments and baseline assessments for scoping and EIA reports. During the progressive of his professional career, he developed distinguished academic, and project coordination skills. Dr. Howari has valuable experience in management, strategic planning and administration, and also in creative leadership.

Biography
Adrian Gallardo is a geoscientist graduated from the University of Tsukuba, Japan, with twenty years experience working in consultancy, mining companies, government agencies, and research institutions. Adrian specialises in hydrogeology, groundwater and solute transport modelling, carbon capture & sequestration, underground storage of nuclear wastes, and environmental geology. He also has substantial experience in the exploration of gold, copper and iron ore deposits. His education and career extend to several countries such as Argentina, Australia, Canada, China, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Namibia, Paraguay, Spain, and USA. Adrian is currently an Associated Researcher at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council of Argentina (CONICET), in the San Luis National University. His work has been summarised in a number of international papers and conference presentations throughout the world.

Mohamed Abouleish is currently the Assistant Professor of Environmental Science at American University of Sharjah, UAE. He worked in the environmental industry at an instrumental company (Shimadzu in USA), and taught chemistry and environmental science at several universities, including Tennessee Technological University.

Wael Abdel Kawy is a Professor, Department of Soil Science, Cairo University, Egypt. He completed his Ph. D., Soil Science, Cairo University, Egypt.2002. He is a Consultant of many national and international Projects in soil science field and principal investigator of many national and international projects in soil science field. He honored with Cairo University International Publication Awards (2014). He is the Country representative for Egypt in the International Societies in soil science field and the Associate Editor of the Arabian Journal of Geoscience (Springer). He has published more than 50 research publication in various repute international journals.

Zakaria Hamimi is a professor of structural geology and tectonics, Geology Department, Faculty of Science, Benha University. He has graduated from Assiut University, May 1984, with honor degree, and awarded the degree of Ph.D. from Cairo University, 1992. He has published some twenty text books in various branches of geosciences (Arabic Edition), particularly field geology, structural geology, tectonics and physical geology, along with more than 60 research publication in local and international journals. He joined Department of geosciences, Faculty of Science, Sana'a University, 1995-1998, and Department of Structural Geology and Remote Sensing, Faculty of Earth Sciences, King Abdulaziz University, 2003-2013.
