Biography
Hasan Arman is a Professor at United Arab Emirates University, College of Science, Geology Department since 2008. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Hacettepe University, Turkey in 1984 and PhD degree from University of Arizona, USA in 1992. He worked as a Postdoc at the University of Nevada, Reno, USA from 1992 to 1993. He was as a faculty member at Sakarya University, Civil Engineering Department, Turkey between 1993 and 2008. He has been teaching several different courses in undergraduate and graduate levels related to engineering, environment, geology and energy.

soil and rock mechanics, environmental geology, environmental degradation, water resources, global warming, climate change, renewable and sustainable energy sources.
Biography
Orabi Hussein Orabi is currently the Former Head of Geology Department at Menoufia University, Egypt. He has done his Ph. D. form Menoufia University in the year of 1989. He is the member of the Geological Society of Egypt as well as the Paleontological Society of Egypt. He has more than 12 publications in many Scientific journals.

Biography
Graduated from Geography, UAE University 1988, and earned her PhD from University of Liverpool in 1996. Throughout her career, she has been distinguished for her professional work. AlKetbi’s professional work has been supplemented by her commitment to community service, and a dedication to the development of UAE culture and literature. Asma Al-Farraj AlKetbi is currently the CEO of the Emirates Geographical Society and as well as the CEO of SPHER International Ltd., a non-governmental organization for human and environment rights. Previously, she was an associate professor in Geomorphology in UAE University. Between June 2008, and January 2009 AlKetbi was the Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Washington, DC. She has been the recipient of several awards; such as the Middle East Women Leaders Awards, Women in Knowledge Management Excellence Award (2012), Abdul Hameed Shaman Award for Young Arab Scientists (2005), the Al-Sharja Award for Arabic Creativity (2004), as well as the Rashid Award (1997). She was also chosen as a mother role model by Emarat Alyoum Newspaper (2012). Before, AlKetbi gained recognition in the UAE and abroad for her scholarly interests and achievements, literary accomplishments, and dedication to community service. Since the acquisition of her Ph.D. in 1996, Dr. AlKetbi has made a mark on the field of Geomorphology through the publication of numerous articles and conference presentations. She has written on diverse topics related to geomorphology and geography that have been published in a variety of international journals. Additionally, AlKetbi has presented her work in conferences around the world. Not only has AlKetbi been a contributor to academic journals, but she has also been a referee for several peer-reviewed publications. She is a member of several international scientific organizations, and an Executive Committee member of International Association of Geomorphologists IAG) 2013-2017). In addition, she founded SPHER International, Ltd.-previously Decency Ltd. in 2013, and founder of UAE Geographical Association in 2009, between 1999 and 2003 she was member and the Chief of Environment Friends Society-AlAin Branch. While being a prolific author of scholarly articles, Dr. AlKetbi has also achieved recognition for her other literary accomplishments. She is a popular weekly contributor to Al Khaleej Newspaper, for which she writes the columns, Sardiat “Literature,†and Rahalat “Journeysâ€. Lately, her weekly articles in Arab newspaper -London, made her advisor in political physics. From 2015 she has her weekly Colom in Aroya newspaper in UAE.
