Biography
Dr. Hudson Nkotagu is the Associate Professor at University of Dar es Salaam. He is the regional team member of the Lake Tanganyika Authority (LTA) and UNEP Consultative Team on Water Quality and Environmental Monitoring developing strategy for the Lake Tanganyika during the period.2009 – 2012. He is also the Visiting Scholar at Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (NIGLAS) in 2010. He was the research fellow at US Geological Survey National Centre DURING the period of 1986 – 1987.
Research Interest
His current research interests are to understanding the influence of the climate change variability /change on the quantity and chemical character of groundwater resources in basement aquifers of semi arid and arid regions.
